SodaSlim is a dietary supplement sold as capsules, 30 to a bottle. It is not a soda and not a drink. Adults take one capsule a day. The label prints all five amounts: 130 mg green coffee bean extract, 130 mg raspberry ketone, 130 mg garcinia extract, 138 mg caffeine anhydrous and 130 mg green tea extract. No study has tested the product, and it is not a drug.

Five quick answers01
What it is02
SodaSlim is a dietary supplement in capsules, sold in a white 30-count bottle with an orange and navy label. One serving is one capsule, so a bottle holds 30 servings, about a month. The name sounds like a drink. The product is not one.
The front of the bottle reads "SodaSlim" and "Metabolic & Appetite Support*", with three claim lines that each end in an asterisk. The asterisk leads to the FDA statement on the label: not evaluated by the FDA, not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
The label prints every amount. The largest line is 138 mg of caffeine anhydrous. Four plant and compound lines of 130 mg each follow. People search for it as Soda Slim and SodaSlim. This site covers the capsules on this label. The FDA does not approve supplements before they are sold (FDA, Questions and answers on dietary supplements).

Claims vs evidence03
No study has tested SodaSlim, so we can't say it helps you lose weight. The NIH says "there's little scientific evidence that weight-loss supplements work" (NIH ODS, Weight loss supplements (consumers)).
A 2021 review of 315 trials found that most showed no weight loss. The 16 positive trials at low risk of bias ranged from 0.3 to 4.93 kg (UNC / Obesity 2021, Review of weight-loss supplements). For two of SodaSlim's lines the pooled differences are small. Garcinia beat placebo by an average of 0.88 kg (Onakpoya 2011, Garcinia (HCA) meta-analysis). Green tea extract, outside Japan, differed by 0.04 kg, not a significant change (Cochrane, Green tea for weight loss (Jurgens)).
The sales page makes bigger claims. It says caffeine "immediately awakens the metabolism" and that raspberry ketone brings an "accelerated reduction in body fat" (SodaSlim sales page). We quote those lines to examine them. The sources we found do not support them as outcomes in people.
Label-front lines are printed on the bottle. Sales-page lines are the seller's own wording, shown in quotes and examined, not endorsed. Health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally human trials of the same product (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).
Never stop or change a prescribed medicine because you started a supplement. Chest pain, fainting or yellow skin or eyes need medical care. The full review is on the claims-vs-evidence page.
The 5 ingredients04
SodaSlim lists five ingredients per capsule: one stimulant, three plant extracts and one single compound. Every amount is printed, and the capsule shell adds nothing else.
Four lines weigh 130 mg and caffeine anhydrous weighs 138 mg, so no one ingredient dominates. The standardizations on the label let us work out what is inside the extracts: about 65 mg chlorogenic acids, about 65 mg HCA and about 58.5 mg EGCG. Use the filter to see one group at a time, then open any profile for its research and cautions.
From the Supplement Facts panel, in label order, per 1-capsule serving. The only other ingredient (hypromellose capsule) carries no amount.
138 mg per capsule, the largest line
Caffeine in its dry, concentrated form, the same stimulant found in coffee, tea and cola
Evidence: Small: short trials, mostly of mixed products138 mg
Studied atNo weight-loss dose verified. The FDA's guide for most healthy adults is up to 400 mg a day from all sources
Watch for138 mg is 34.5% of the 400 mg guide before any coffee, tea or soda. Fast heartbeat, jitters, poor sleep and higher blood pressure are listed effects of too much.
Full profile130 mg per capsule, 50% chlorogenic acids
Extract of unroasted Coffea robusta seeds, standardized to 50% chlorogenic acids
Evidence: Weak: three poor-quality trials, one trial in the area retracted130 mg
Studied atODS: seems safe up to 200 mg a day for 12 weeks. The three trials in one review were poor quality
Watch forContains caffeine that the label does not count. Headache and urinary tract infections are listed. The best-known trial was retracted in 2014.
Full profile130 mg per capsule, no standardization printed
A flavor compound found in red raspberries in tiny amounts; the label does not say where this one comes from
Evidence: Almost none in people130 mg
Studied atNo human dose verified; one 8-week trial tested a mixed product that also had caffeine
Watch forSafety is not established in people. Raspberries hold only trace amounts, so the label's 130 mg is not a raspberry-sized amount.
Full profile130 mg per capsule, 50% HCA
Extract of Garcinia cambogia fruit rind, standardized to 50% hydroxycitric acid (HCA)
Evidence: Small: 0.88 kg average difference, relevance uncertain130 mg
Studied atMeta-analysis pooled nine trials; the daily HCA doses were not read
Watch forNCCIH reports numerous liver-toxicity cases, several severe, and possible interactions with drugs that affect the liver or serotonin.
Full profile130 mg per capsule, 45% EGCG
Concentrated extract of green tea leaf, standardized to 98% polyphenols, 75% catechins and 45% EGCG
Evidence: Small at best (Cochrane: -0.04 kg outside Japan)130 mg
Studied atLiver enzymes rose at 800 mg a day of extract; EFSA flags 800 mg a day of EGCG from supplements
Watch forExtracts, unlike tea, have been linked to liver injury. Stop and get care for abdominal pain, dark urine or yellow skin or eyes.
Full profileAmounts vs references05
Only some lines have a figure we could check. Caffeine is a third of the FDA's daily guide. The green tea extract is far below the level where liver signals appeared. For garcinia and raspberry ketone we found no verified daily study dose, so we draw no bar.
The arithmetic: 138 mg is 34.5% of the 400 mg a day the FDA gives for most healthy adults (FDA, Spilling the beans: how much caffeine is too much). The 130 mg of green tea extract is about 16% of the 800 mg a day of extract at which liver enzymes rose (MSK, Green tea (About Herbs)), and its 58.5 mg of EGCG is about 7% of the 800 mg a day of EGCG that EFSA flags (IFST, EFSA green tea catechins safety assessment). The 130 mg of green coffee bean extract is 65% of the 200 mg a day the NIH calls seemingly safe for 12 weeks (NIH ODS, Weight loss supplements (consumers)).
That is arithmetic, not a verdict on your body. The FTC says ingredient research does not carry over to a finished product automatically (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance), and none exists for this one. Other places you meet caffeine: caffeine content in SodaSlim.
Your daily caffeine06
One capsule is 138 mg, about one strong cup of coffee. Add the drinks you already have and see where you land against the 400 mg guide.
138 mg from the capsule alone: 34.5% of the 400 mg a day the FDA gives for most healthy adults. Add your drinks above.
Drink figures are the FDA's per 12 fl oz (FDA, Spilling the beans: how much caffeine is too much); actual cups vary. The green tea extract adds under 3.9 mg by its own label standardization and the green coffee line adds an amount the label does not print. The 400 mg guide is for most healthy adults; pregnancy, heart rhythm problems, anxiety and some medicines call for a clinician's advice (MedlinePlus, Caffeine).
More on caffeine content and side effects.
How you take it08
Adults take one capsule a day. That is one serving, and one bottle lasts 30 days.
The label prints it this way: "As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily." It names no time of day, no food rule and no water amount. The seller's copy prefers the morning. Do not take more than the label says.
On a new bottle, check that the safety seal is intact. Read the Supplement Facts. List any medicine you take for blood pressure, blood sugar, thyroid, mood or attention, and any other product with caffeine.
One capsule lists 138 mg of caffeine anhydrous. The FDA's guide for most healthy adults is about 400 mg a day from every source. Add up your coffee, tea, soda and energy drinks first.
That is the label's whole direction: take one (1) capsule daily. The label prints no time of day, no food rule and no water amount. The seller's copy prefers the morning. Do not take more than the label says.
A bottle lasts 30 days. Note sleep, jitters and heartbeat. Stop and call your doctor for a racing heart, chest pain, yellow skin or eyes, or dark urine. Keep the meals, activity and medicines your clinician set.
The label says one capsule daily and prints no time. The seller's copy prefers the morning. Do not take more than the label says.
Coffee, tea or an energy drink adds to the capsule's 138 mg. Brewed coffee runs 113 to 247 mg per 12 fl oz. (FDA, Spilling the beans: how much caffeine is too much)
A walk or a meal does the work that no capsule can; a gradual pace of 1 to 2 pounds a week is what Mayo Clinic and the CDC describe. (Mayo Clinic, Weight loss: 6 strategies for success) (CDC, Steps for losing weight)
Insomnia and jitters are listed effects of too much caffeine. Late coffee, tea or soda on top of the capsule is the common way to overshoot. (FDA, Spilling the beans: how much caffeine is too much) (Mayo Clinic, Caffeine: how much is too much)
Note sleep, heartbeat and mood. Racing heart, chest pain, yellow skin or eyes, or dark urine: stop and call a doctor. (MSK, Green tea (About Herbs)) (MedlinePlus, Caffeine)
An illustration of a habit: the label sets only "one capsule daily". Times are suggestions, and prescribed medicine keeps its own schedule.

I do laundry for the house. That's the cue. One capsule with breakfast. Caffeine is in it. I skip the second energy drink. I keep it by the hymnals. I take it when I clip the leash.

I keep a tackle box in the truck. Wanted week-one scale noise. Didn't get it. Kept the routine. I keep it in the tackle box. I take it when I sit in the bleachers.

I sit with crossword coffee. Heart-rate watch got noisy when I stacked it with espresso. Now it's capsule or coffee, not both loud. I keep it on the sewing table. I take it before I sweep the shop.

The label says to take one (1) capsule daily as a dietary supplement. Do not exceed the recommended dose. The label prints no time of day.
The label lists 138 mg of caffeine anhydrous per capsule and says Contains Caffeine. The extracts add a little more, and the label does not print the green coffee figure.
No source we found shows that. The sales page claims more in its own words; the reviews of its ingredients show small average weight differences, and no study tested SodaSlim (NIH ODS, Weight loss supplements (consumers)) (UNC / Obesity 2021, Review of weight-loss supplements).
No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold (FDA, Questions and answers on dietary supplements). The label carries the standard statement that its claims were not evaluated by the FDA.
