Are Soda Slim Capsules Made in the USA, GMP Certified and FDA Registered?

Quick answer

SodaSlim capsules are labeled "Manufactured in the USA with globally sourced ingredients" and carry a GMP CERTIFIED badge, but the label names no factory, certifier or test lab. A seal image saying FDA registered is not FDA approval. The lot and certificate codes are seller references, and no lab report is published.

Where it is made01

Are Soda Slim capsules made in the USA?

The label says so, with a limit. It reads "Manufactured in the USA with globally sourced ingredients", and a front badge says "MADE IN USA with global ingredients". SodaSlim is a capsule, not a drink, so the final making is claimed for the US.

The wording has two halves. The final making is claimed for the US. The ingredients come from around the world. The label does not say which country supplies the caffeine, the raspberry ketone or the extracts.

It also does not name the factory. The only company on the bottle is the distributor, Gex Corporation LLP, Ogden, Utah. So "made in the USA" is a statement you can read but not trace. The page on what the label leaves out lists the other gaps.

The badges02

What do the SodaSlim GMP and FDA registered badges mean?

A badge is a claim by the seller. The GMP CERTIFIED and NON-GMO marks on the label name no certifier. The "FDA registered" seal on the seller's artwork lists a facility with the FDA, and it is not approval.

GMP means good manufacturing practice, the rules for how supplements are made, labeled and stored. Supplement makers must follow them by law, so a GMP line is the minimum, not a bonus. A certificate would name an auditor and a date. None is shown.

The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold (FDA, Questions and answers on dietary supplements). Claims like "supports weight management" are structure and function claims. They need the standard disclaimer, and they are not drug claims (FDA, Structure/function claim notification). The label carries that disclaimer.

FDA registered facility badge
FDA registered facility

Registration lists a facility with the FDA. It is not approval, and the facility is not named.

GMP certified badge

Matches the label badge 'GMP CERTIFIED'. No certifier is named. Supplement makers must follow GMP rules by law.

GMO free badge
GMO free

Matches the label's 'NON-GMO' badge. No certifier is named.

100% natural ingredients badge
100% natural ingredients

A seller badge. 'Natural' has no set meaning for supplements, and the label does not say whether the raspberry ketone or the caffeine is plant-made or made in a lab.

Doctor formulated badge
Doctor formulated

A seller badge. No doctor is named on the label or on the sales page we read, so we cannot say who formulated it.

Guaranteed pure badge
Guaranteed pure

A seller badge. No purity test, lab or certificate is published with it.

Gluten free badge
Gluten free

A seller badge. The label prints no gluten statement and no gluten test or certifier is named.

Dairy free badge
Dairy free

A seller badge. The label prints no dairy statement and no certifier is named.

Vegetarian badge
Vegetarian

A seller badge. The label calls the capsule a vegetable (hypromellose) capsule. No certifier is named.

Each badge comes from the brand's own image set. A badge is a claim by the seller, not a certificate: none names a certifier, lab or audit. FDA does not approve supplements before they are sold (FDA, Questions and answers on dietary supplements), and health claims in ads need real evidence (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).

Seller badges such as "Guaranteed pure" and "Doctor formulated" are artwork. No purity test is published, and no doctor is named on the label.

Claim by claim03

What does each SodaSlim quality claim prove?

Each claim proves a little, and none proves a result. Use the table to see what you can check and what you must take on trust.

The FTC says a health claim needs solid evidence, and research on one ingredient does not automatically support a finished product (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance). The same goes for a quality claim: ask what stands behind it.

Batch codes04

What is the SodaSlim batch or lot code, and does it prove testing?

The SodaSlim lot code, SS-26/TH-7710, and the certificate code, SS-7710-26-TH, are references from the seller. They do not prove testing. A code proves testing only if a lab report names the same code.

No lab report is published for SodaSlim. We do not know the lab, the date or what was tested. A report that would count lists the lab's name, the lot, the date, the method and each result, such as caffeine content against the label. The label we read prints no revision code.

That leaves one honest statement: the label prints its amounts, but no outside party has checked them in public. Caffeine is the amount that matters most, because it is 138 mg, or 34.5% of the 400 mg a day the FDA gives for most healthy adults (FDA, Spilling the beans: how much caffeine is too much).

  • Printed

    Amounts of all five lines

Every line has an amount in mg on the label. Some descriptions of this product say no amounts are printed; this site follows the label itself.

  • Partly printed

    Total caffeine from every source

Caffeine anhydrous is 138 mg. Green tea extract adds under 3.9 mg by its own standardization. The green coffee line does not say how much caffeine it holds. (Onakpoya 2011, Green coffee extract meta-analysis) (NIH ODS, Weight loss supplements (consumers))

  • Not printed

    Who makes it

The label names a distributor (Gex Corporation LLP), not a manufacturer or factory.

  • Not printed

Time of day, food and water

The label says take one capsule daily and nothing more. Morning comes from the seller's copy.

  • Not printed

    Third-party test or certifier

The badges NON-GMO and GMP CERTIFIED name no certifier or audit. A lot code and CoA reference are seller references, not lab proof. (FDA, Questions and answers on dietary supplements)

  • Not printed

    Where raspberry ketone comes from

No plant part or standardization is printed. Raspberries hold only trace amounts, so a 130 mg dose is not food-sized. (Rao 2021, Raspberry ketone review)

  • Not printed

    Studies of this product

None found. Research on single ingredients does not carry over to a finished product at other doses and in combination. (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance)

  • Not printed

    Allergen statement

The label prints no allergen line. The capsule is hypromellose (a vegetable capsule).

What would change our view

A report from a named lab that matches your lot to the printed amounts, plus the name of the factory. If the distributor sends one, we will read it.

What to do05

How can you check SodaSlim quality yourself?

Check the seal, ask for the report and keep a record. You do not need a lab to do the first two.

The bottle's safety seal must be intact, as the label says. Then write to the distributor and ask for the lab report for your lot. A short note works: your order ID, the lot on your bottle and a request for the testing lab's name and date.

  1. Save the facts

Photograph the front, the Supplement Facts and the seal. Keep the order email.

  2. Ask in writing

Use the order email, [email protected], or call +1 (302) 200-3480. The label's distributor line is +1 (507) 448-8190.

  3. Weigh the answer

A named lab and a report for your lot is useful. A reply that repeats the badges is not new information.

  4. Check your health first

Quality is one question. Safety for you is another. Ask a doctor or pharmacist about caffeine, green tea extract and garcinia, and keep taking prescribed medicine (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements: What You Need to Know).

If a bottle looks wrong, read how to verify a SodaSlim bottle. Report problems to the FDA, and call 911 for chest pain or fainting.

FAQ06

SodaSlim questions people ask

Is SodaSlim made in the USA?

The label says "Manufactured in the USA with globally sourced ingredients". It does not name the factory or say where each ingredient comes from, so the claim cannot be traced from the bottle.

Is SodaSlim GMP certified?

The label has a GMP CERTIFIED badge, but it names no certifier, auditor or date. Supplement makers must follow GMP rules by law, so ask the distributor for the certificate.

Has the FDA cleared SodaSlim before sale or only FDA registered?

The seller's artwork has an FDA registered seal, which lists a facility. It is not approval. The FDA does not approve supplements before they are sold (FDA, Questions and answers on dietary supplements).

Does SodaSlim have a certificate of analysis?

The seller gives a code, SS-7710-26-TH, but no lab report is published. A real certificate names the lab, the lot, the date and the results.

Where do I find the SodaSlim batch number on my bottle?

Look at the label and the bottle base. The label we read prints no revision code, so a lot may be missing. If you cannot find one, ask the order desk.

Are SodaSlim capsules third-party tested?

We found no public proof. The NON-GMO and GMP badges name no certifier, and no test lab is named. Ask the distributor for a report for your lot.

Who do I ask about SodaSlim quality?

Ask the distributor on the label, +1 (507) 448-8190, or the order desk on +1 (302) 200-3480. The website inbox, [email protected], cannot see orders or lab records.
